Alonso doesn't have a problem with his hand... Those idiots covering Friday's practice session couldn't tell that he was using the f-duct system. There is a device to the left of the steering wheel that he must push with the back of his hand to stall the rear wing thus improving straightline speed. So.. during all the straights and any corners not relying on 100% downforce he must push the stall button/flap. This is why you see him make a brake bias adjustment with right hand going down the straight; because he couldn't take his left hand off the f-duct flap! The engineers even designed a special glove with padding to help with the job.
