About Me Been a NASCAR fan since 1994 and seeing the first Brickyard 400. Got me hooked and Martin quickly became a driver to watch. Mark Martin is the best driver never to have won the Cup Championship

    Where is y'all?

    Thursday, March 17, 2011, 12:25 AM [General]

I have been cruising the MYSpeed community and it seems nothing has happened for a l-o-o-o-o-ng time here. Blogs are 6-10 months old, comments from last year abound, etc.

We are in what I believe will be the most exciting NASCAR season yet! New points system, new cars, musical drivers, new schedule, where's Kahne this week, etc, etc. To me the Daytona 500 was the best RACING I've seen for some time. The 2 by 2 push to the front was great!

Kyle Busch said he did something stupid too. He's growing up.

Yeah some people like the long "train" we're accustomed to there, but they are "wreck fans" I think. Loved the different drivers hooking up and switching to find a better leader or follower. Many wanted Bayne as their push car, amazing for a new, 20-year-old kid, huh?

Three races down and all the series' standings are shifting every week. I like it! Looks like a nail-biting season, maybe with no clear dominator at all. A race for the championships all the way to Homestead in November. It's gonna be fun.
