Audi has a rich racing heritage and was the PVGP Marque 10 years ago in 2000.
For the past 27 years, the Race Weekend has been the focus of the PVGP and no other event in the country can compare to the uniqueness of Schenley Park. Each year we feature a car as our Marque and in 2010 that honor goes to Audi.
We expect to have over one hundred Audi's lining the fairways of Schenley Park including some very rare cars from private collectors, as well as special interest enthusiasts from across the country. Audi owners are invited to attend regardless of year or model! In this PVGP Marque of the Year section, you should be able to find all information you need to join us for the week, including hotel information and
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix will have a massive presence at next month's Auto Show at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The show runs from Thur Feb 11 thru Mon Feb 15. We will be at our traditional spot at the top of the escalators on the second floor lobby overlooking the river.
Stop by our great display of race cars and show cars. At the booth you can watch videos, sign-up as a volunteer and purchase PVGP merchandise. We need volunteers to help staff the booth too. Visit pvgp.org to learn more.
The entire Convention Center is filled with the latest domestic and foreign cars, trucks and SUV’s from over 35 manufacturers and exhibitors under one roof! It’s also a preview of coming attractions, where visitors can inspect new models before they hit dealers’ showrooms. It’s a great opportunity for families to check out a variety of new vehicles all in one location. Attendees are welcome to slip into the driver’s seat of a sporty new convertible or pile their kids into a roomy sport-utility just for fun. Everything from pure concept to practical reality will be on display.
On Christmas Eve at 3 a.m., Geno Giguere, the owner of Geno's Restaurant and the host and PVGP Rallye sponsor, lost everything he owned when the family house burnt down. Geno and Lisa have two young girls, ages 1 and 2, the girls wear size 2T and 12-18 months.
Geno, Lisa, both girls and their dogs made it out safely and unharmed, however, they lost everything, including their Christmas gifts. If you know of anyone who can help with clothing donations or any type of help, please let me know.
