I actually think I recognize you from the Grand Am board. Do you go by the same name? I do on there. Anyway I agree with you about the motor part. As long as it fast I'm all for it. I race in the SCCA in the IT category mainly and share a Spec Racer Ford during enduros. But being the owner of a tuning shop in Daytona beach, I see all types of hardcore guys come in. The there's no way a 4 banger would ever beat my V8. Meanwhile my Evo or FC RX-7 will stomp them out. And them I get the "I have a turbo Honda" guys "and I can beat any V8". That's why I love my DynoJet I renamed it the Lie Detector lol. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY HONDA ONLY MADE 175whp. ITS TURBO". Yea but dude it was a 1.5l single cam to begin with, be happy it made that lol. I see it all, and the F1 section on the Speed board reminds me of it. I build a lot of Gray market cars like Nissan R32-34 GT-R. We are contracted by a company that imports them. we put them together when their shipped to the US. They have to be 100% disassembled to legally import them. I got to build a Subaru 22b number 89/400 . I think it was the only one ever in the US. And something you would like. I got to put together the very last Spirit R ever made. It was a 2002. it's stamp number was the last one that was sold to the public. That went to a guy in Chicago when I finished it. The damn thing had 14 kilometers on it, 14. If your interested in any of those types of cars I could send you some links of the stuff I have built or some Grassroots motorsports articles. Anyway later homie.
